According to local sources, despite the ban, a DJ box was being played very loudly during the Ganesh immersion procession on Saturday night. Locals alleged that the structure of the old house could not withstand the loud noise of the DJ and the strong vibration caused by it. Just as the procession was passing in front of the house, a large part of the roof and plaster above the second-story window fell onto the road. A young man named Biswajit Barik, a resident of Harirajpur area, lost his life in this accident. The injured were quickly rescued and admitted to various hospitals in the city. The police administration has been shaken after the incident. The administration has informed that there was no permission to play DJ during the immersion. However, how this rule was violated is being investigated. It has now been decided to conduct a full investigation with a sound engineer and a structural safety expert to confirm whether the collapse was caused by the vibration of the DJ's sound. This tragic consequence of playing DJ without permission has spread intense anger among the local common people.
