Free medical services for Amarnath pilgrims by Bharat Sevashram Sangha.

Sanchita Chatterjee,  Kolkata: Like every year, this year too, Bharat Sevashram Sangha has launched free medical services for Amarnath pilgrims. Pilgrims are being given free medicines through a medical camp in Chandanbari on the way to Amarnath. In addition, arrangements have been made to check their oxygen levels before climbing the mountain in that camp. This camp is being run under the leadership of Swami Satyamitranand Maharaj, the head of the Jammu branch of Bharat Sevashram Sangha. In addition, a warehouse has been arranged for the pilgrims in the Jammu office of the Sangha. There is free accommodation and food facilities there. Swami Vishwatmanand Maharaj, the general secretary of Bharat Sevashram Sangha, said that they have been conducting this medical camp in Amarnath for many years. This time too, monks and volunteers from various branch centers of the Sangha including Kolkata are providing medical services in Amarnath. Experienced doctors will provide this service as long as the Amarnath Yatra continues.
