Supercomputer predicts 4 countries that will play in the semi-finals of the World Cup

Only eight teams remain in the race for the title. The quarter-finals are starting after a one-day break. With this phase in mind, football statistics analysis company Optar has released its latest supercomputer forecast. According to the Optar supercomputer forecast, France has the highest chance of winning against Morocco in the quarter-finals. Their chance of reaching the semi-finals is estimated at 73.88 percent, while Morocco's chance is 26.12 percent.

Spain is also in a strong position. Their chance of reaching the last four against Belgium is 69.70 percent. On the other hand, Belgium's chance is 30.30 percent. The supercomputer considers the match between Norway and England to be relatively competitive. However, England was put ahead in the end.

 Their chances of reaching the semi-finals are 62.35 percent, while Norway's are 37.65 percent. Current world champions Argentina are also among the favorites. Lionel Messi's chances of reaching the semi-finals against Switzerland are 69.13 percent. Switzerland's chances, on the other hand, are 30.87 percent.
